CADHP2 Day 6

Today I'm working on the camera body. Here is what it looked like when I started and now

After a lot of work

After more work

CADHP2 Day 5

As I mentioned yesterday I made mistake when creating lens. But today I was able to fix my mistake. So here we have the lens

I start to work also on lens cover. It's consist of two elements. You would be suprised how many little elements are in this part.

Upper part of cover:

Lower part of cover:

Cover assembly

CADHP2 Day 4

Today I almost finished all lens elements. I worked on the connection between the lens and camera. I also was able to finish to switches that are on the lens.

I started to work on the lens assembly and it turned out that I made a mistake. I create one part with outer diameter that should be the inner diameter, so I have to make changes.

CADHP2 Day 3

Today I started to work on the lens in my camera. It has 3 main parts, I was  able to almost finish to of them.

I start to really worried about body of the camera. It is not easy to create.

CADHP2 Day 2

Today I was managed to create part that is connecting camera to the tripod. I am just worried about one thing. The more I am looking at my camera the more details I see. This is really tricky project.

CADHP2 Day 1

CADHP2 Day 1

It's time for my final task at Noroff . I chose to re create Canon EOS 1000d camera. I have one at home and I think it will be excellent example of my abilities.

My main focus will be to create as much detailed camera body with lenses as possible. I chose to work with Inventor and 3Ds Max. I hope I will be able to create tripod as well.
After creating the whole camera in Inventor I will create animation using 3Ds Max to show how this particular camera works. I will work 160 hours over 4 weeks.

Today my project got approved and I bought callipers, so the measurements will be correct.

CAVm4

This week I worked on house from CAAm2 module. I imported it to the 3Ds Max.

I created kitchen furniture, and added it to the scene

Some furniture were reused from previous tasks

 Than I added materials...

...and lights.

This time we were using Mental Ray renderer. Renders took a lot of time, and there is no information how long render will take, but the pictures are very nice.

This time we also created panorama view. It's 6 rendered photographs combined into 360 degrees view.
Here we have panorama view exported into sphere:

To see it in "full glory" click here.

And this is my video presentation:

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to render animation, so I just used preview instead.
